Bridge Street & Miramichi Avenue Reconstruction – Fall Project Update

Work on the Bridge Street and Miramichi Avenue reconstruction project is beginning to wind down for the season as crews prepare for the final stages of this year’s construction. 

Current efforts are focused on preparing the area to accommodate traffic throughout the winter months. 

The Bridge Street bridge reopened to motor vehicle traffic in October following the completion of important utility work. However, work in the broader project area is still ongoing. 

Motorists are reminded to use caution when travelling through the area and to continue following the posted detour via Blanchard Avenue for the Miramichi Avenue construction zone.
