Construction Underway at La Promenade Waterfront

Construction is now underway in the parking lot of La Promenade Waterfront for the installation of a new fast-charging station for electric vehicles.

The work is expected to continue for approximately 6 to 8 weeks, with the bulk of construction anticipated to wrap up by mid-to-late October.

During construction, the middle section of the Promenade Waterfront parking lot will be closed, resulting in limited parking availability. The closure includes the existing RV and accessible parking spaces located within this section.

To maintain accessible parking during the work, two temporary accessible parking spaces will be designated in front of the public washrooms.

Businesses at the Promenade Waterfront remain open and accessible throughout construction, and visitors are encouraged to continue supporting and visiting Waterfront businesses.

Visitors are asked to follow any signage in place and use caution around the construction area.
