Subject: Rezoning 1005 St. Anne Street
Notice is hereby given that Bathurst City Council intends to consider amendments to By-Law No. 2006-01 entitled "The City of Bathurst Municipal Plan By-Law” and to By-Law 2008-01 entitled “The City of Bathurst Zoning By-Law” as follow:
Subject: Rezoning 1005 St. Anne Street
Change the zoning of lot bearing civic numbers 1005 St. Anne Street and bearing PID 20759379. For the purposes of the municipal plan, the land use designation is changed from “Commercial” to “Integrated Development”. For the purpose of the zoning by-law, the zoning is changed from “Highway Commercial – HC Zone” to “Integrated development – ID Zone”.
The purpose of this rezoning is to allow the development of a residential complex comprising several multi-unit rowhouses.
Interested parties may examine the proposed amendments at the Bathurst City Hall at the address mentioned below from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Written objections must be received by the City Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026.
Written objections to the proposed amendments will be considered at a meeting which will be held in the Council Chambers of the City of Bathurst on April 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to defend or oppose these objections can do so at this time and place.
