IMPORTANT NOTICE – FOREST FIRE RISK

Across New Brunswick and all of Canada, we are experiencing significant risk and impacts from forest fires. To date, we have been spared the worst of the impacts, but the hot and dry conditions experienced this summer pose a sizeable risk of forest fire.

The City of Bathurst shares with residents and tourists the importance of respecting the New Brunswick Fire Index notices, presently at the  RED level (no burning) , especially with extreme heat and humidity forecasts for the coming days.
