BATHURST CITY COUNCIL MOTION ON BY-LAW No. 2025-06 — A By-Law Respecting the Remuneration of Mayor and Councillors of the City of Bathurst

At the Regular Public Meeting of Bathurst City Council on Monday, June 16, 2025, Council voted on the first reading of a motion to approve proposed By-law No. 2025-06 entitled “A By-Law Respecting the Remuneration of Mayor and Councillors of the City of Bathurst”.

The intent of By-Law no. 2025-06 is to establish the annual remuneration of the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Councillors of the City of Bathurst, to provide for annual adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index, and to set a schedule for regular salary reviews.
