OVERNIGHT LINE PAINTING – IMPORTANT NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

The City of Bathurst is currently undertaking line painting on streets and roadways throughout the municipality.

For safety and efficiency reasons, this work is being carried out during the nighttime hours when traffic is significantly lighter. This helps ensure the safety of workers and minimizes traffic disruptions.

We understand that some residents may hear operational noise during this period. While a noise bylaw exemption was granted to conduct this essential work overnight, we recognize the inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Why overnight?

Less traffic = safer conditions for workers
Faster and more effective completion
Reduced risk of paint being disturbed by passing vehicles

This work is ongoing throughout this week and next, weather permitting. Delays may occur if conditions are not suitable.

The work is temporary and essential to maintaining safe and visible road markings throughout our city.
