Road work on Sunset Drive - Week of March 4, 2024

This week, City of Bathurst crews will be upgrading infrastructure at a manhole on Sunset Drive. Due to construction, a section of Sunset Drive will be temporarily closed to traffic.

Detour Information

Motorists who usually use this side of Sunset Drive will be rerouted to St. Joseph Street through Cité de l'Amitié. Please follow detour signs for the alternate route.

Potential Discoloured Water Notice

Once the work is complete, valves will be reopened, which may cause a brief period of discolored water in nearby areas. If you experience discolored water, it's recommended to:

Avoid washing laundry until the water clears up.
Run cold water for 10-15 minutes to flush out any discolored water from your pipes.
