Media Statement - Update on negotiations between CUPE Local 1282 employees and the City of Bathurst

The bargaining Committees for CUPE, Local 1282, and the City of Bathurst agreed this morning to return to the negotiating table. The parties will meet on Monday, August 12th with the assistance of a Mediator appointed by the Province of New Brunswick.

The City of Bathurst has consistently wanted to see continuity in this process and looks forward to productive talks between the parties.
