Bridge Street Bridge Closure Extended Through October 2

The temporary closure of the Bridge Street bridge to motor vehicle traffic, originally expected to end September 25, has been extended through October 2 as work continues to connect utilities at the bridge.

Motorists remain unable to cross the bridge and should continue to follow the posted detour via Blanchard Avenue and use Highway 11 to travel around the closure.

Pedestrians can continue to cross the Bridge Street bridge on foot during this phase of the project.

Motorists travelling through the area are asked to follow posted signage, allow additional travel time and use caution around active work zones.
