Bridge Street Bridge Closure – Weekend Reminder

As we head into the weekend, motorists are reminded that the Bridge Street bridge remains closed to motor vehicle traffic through September 25 as part of the ongoing Bridge Street and Miramichi Avenue reconstruction project.

Pedestrian Access

Pedestrians can continue to cross the Bridge Street bridge on foot during this phase of the project.

Detour

Motorists should continue to follow the posted detour via Blanchard Avenue and use Highway 11 to travel around the bridge closure.

Road Conditions

Crews have also patched sections of the roadway in the area to help improve driving conditions while reconstruction work continues.
