At the Regular Public Meeting of Bathurst City Council held on Monday, December 1, 2025, Council voted on the first reading of a motion to approve proposed By-law No. 2025-09 entitled “A By-Law to Approve the 2026 Budget of the Downtown Revitalization Corporation and to Establish a Special Business Improvement Area Levy in the City of Bathurst”.

The intent of By-law No. 2025-09 is to adopt the Special Business Improvement Levy in the City of Bathurst.
