The City of Bathurst kicked off Filipino Heritage Month with a joyful flag-raising ceremony alongside members of our vibrant Filipino community.

Canadians of Filipino heritage show how unity and collective strength enrich Bathurst — and communities across Canada — through their talents, generosity, and cultural richness.

Mayor Kim Chamberlain welcomed residents of Filipino heritage to City Hall as the Philippine flag was hoisted in honour of their enduring contributions.
