As we head into construction season, the City of Bathurst Planning Department is seeing a significant increase in building permit applications.

To avoid delays, we’re asking residents and contractors to:

• Submit complete applications: Ensure all required documents, drawings, and information are included.
• Double-check your paperwork: Incomplete or inaccurate applications are one of the biggest causes of processing delays.
• Apply early: With higher-than-normal volumes, getting ahead of your project is key.

PLEASE NOTE: Incomplete applications CANNOT be processed.
