Fire hydrant repair on St. Peter Avenue — June 17

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, City crews will be repairing a fire hydrant on St. Peter Avenue, near the Sobeys Gas Bar.
To complete the work safely, southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the work, between the traffic lights at the Sobeys entrance and the gas station exit. Drivers should slow down through the area and allow a little extra time.
Water service is not expected to be affected. The work is limited to the hydrant itself and does not require any interruption to the water distribution system.
