Jeux de l'Acadie 2028 Bathurst - Bid to host

Bathurst is bidding to host the 2028 Jeux de l'Acadie — and as a City, we're behind this project 100%.

The Jeux de l'Acadie are the largest celebration of Acadian youth in Atlantic Canada. Over 6 days, a single host community welcomes more than 1,200 athletes and artists, 300 coaches, 9 regions from the 4 Atlantic provinces, and close to 30,000 visitors. Picture what that means for Bathurst.

Whether you're a volunteer, an athlete, a sports fan, or just someone who wants to see our local economy grow — there's something in this for all of us.
