PUBLIC NOTICE - URBAN AGRICULTURE - Under Section 111 of the Community Planning Act
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Bathurst intends to consider an amendment to By-law No. 2008-01 entitled “Zoning By-Law " to rezone land as follows: The City Council intends to amend the City of Bathurst Zoning By-law 2008-01 to allow Urban Agriculture in Low Density Residential zone. The keeping of a maximum of 6 chickens as a secondary use will be permitted in the “R1” and “R2”, Residential zone subject to term and conditions. Any interested persons may review the proposed By-law at the Planning Department, City Hall from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday to Friday. Written objections to the said amendment may be made to City Council by forwarding them to the City Clerk before 4:00p.m. Thursday December 13, 2018. Council will meet at City Hall at 6:30p.m., Monday December 17, 2018, to consider written objections to the proposed amendment.
