Notice is hereby given that Bathurst City Council intends to consider amendments to By-Law No. 2006-01 entitled "The City of Bathurst Municipal Plan By-Law” and City of Bathurst Zoning By-law 2008-01 entitled “The City of Bathurst Zoning By-Law”.
575 St-Peter Avenue:
The City of Bathurst has received a request from House of Fixtures to amend the Municipal Plan and Zoning By-Law for the property located at 575 St-Peter Avenue having the PID number 20006904. The applicant proposes to use the property for commercial development. The property is classified in the Municipal Plan and in the Zoning By-law as “Institutional”.
To allow a Commercial Development on this property, the land use classification in the Municipal Plan and in the Zoning By-Law needs to be amended from “Institutional” to “Commercial.”
Any interested persons may review the proposed By-law at the Planning Department, City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Written objections to the said amendments may be made to the City Council by forwarding them to the City Clerk before 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020. Council will meet at City Hall at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020, to consider written objections to the proposed amendments and anyone wishing to address Council on their written objections may do so at this time.
