Bathurst Aquatic Centre

Bathurst has a great aquatic centre right downtown, and it offers many different programs including public swimming, lap swimming, and water aerobics. The pool and mezzanine are available for rentals.

Pavilion Gymnasium

Located in the Canada Games Pavilion on St. George Street in Bathurst.
The Pavilion gymnasium is available for rental to the general public, groups, and organizations on an hourly and daily basis. We offer limited equipment for badminton, indoor tennis, floor hockey and an open gymnasium for your own recreational use. Users will be required to bring their own rackets, plastic blade hockey sticks, etc.

OPEN BADMINTON
Join us for a fun night of badminton each Tuesday evening from 6:45 to 8:45 pm. Just bring your racket and we will do the rest. The cost is $3 per person. Contact : Remi Doucet at 545-0932 or Steven Christie at 546-3717. See you there !!

Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, October to April 1st
$5 per night, birds included, everyone welcome!

DUSTY SNEAKERS (50+) Seniors' Only
Come on ! Shake the dust off those sneakers and get ready to join us in the gymnasium of the Canada Games Pavilion on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:00 am. Call 548-0410 for more information on this exciting and popular exercise program for mature adults.

Youghall Beach / Park

Youghall Beach Park is a great meeting place for all ages, offering you swimming, volleyball, windsurfing, or just lazing in the sun! The park is fully operational from June to August and offers lifeguards for your peace of mind. Come enjoy our golden sands and beautiful blue waters!

Facilities include canteen area, change rooms and washroom, picnic gazebo, picnic area, playground, boardwalks.

Squire Green Golf Club

Introducing the brand new "Squire Green Golf & Country Club". Centrally located in the City of Bathurst just off Riverside Drive on Golf St., this exciting new golf course serves up 3,421 yards of pure sporting enjoyment. This challenging 9-hole course boasts a professional design by Ward Northrup and Associates of Delray Beach, Florida. The view overlooking Bathurst is absolutely beautiful, as is the course layout itself, featuring breathtaking waterways and lakes. The course features a state-of-the-art irrigation system, covering the entire 9 holes.

We invite you to check out our new Pro-Shop & our new Driving Range directly next to the #1 tee. Golf carts are available for rental at Squire Green, as the course features paved paths for the carts. Bathurst Youth Centre

The Bathurst Youth Centre gives our youth a place to meet and enjoy leisure activities in a healthy, secure and fun environment. This environment meets the interests and needs of today's young people. We offer dances, concerts, variety shows, a café, pool tables and games area, organized sports, activities and programs. Counseling services and assistance with employment are also available. Any other activity or service that young people desire is prioritized.
