The Bathurst region has all the right infrastructures to support business development. The area boasts a deep-water port open year-round, an airport, multiple industrial parks, rail service connected to the North American grid and a multi-point highway network.

International shipping

The Bathurst region is adjacent to the Port of Belledune, a modern port with year-round access. The Port of Belledune is specialized in the transport of a multitude of cargo and offers a variety of wharf services to its clients. Due to its strategic location on the south shore of the Chaleur Bay, the port gives area businesses access to major international shipping lines.
