PUBLIC NOTICE - 309 King Avenue - Under Section 111 of the Community Planning Act

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Bathurst intends to consider an amendment to By-law no. 2008-01 entitled “Zoning By-Law " to rezone land as follows:
The City of Bathurst has received an application from 662770 NB Inc. to rezone the property located at 309 King Avenue (PID 20004610).
The application is to rezone this property and the intent is to use the existing building for an online distribution operation and as a warehouse for the merchandise to be shipped by courier.
The zoning classification of the property will remain “Central Business District (CBD)”. However, in addition to the uses normally permitted in a Central Business District zone, an online distribution operation and a warehouse for the merchandise to be shipped by courier will be permitted subject to terms and conditions.
Any interested persons may review the proposed By-law at the Planning Department, City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Written objections to the said amendment may be made to the City Council by forwarding them to the City Clerk before 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Council will meet at City Hall at 6:30 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2018 to consider written objections to the proposed amendment. Any person wishing to speak for or against the written objections may do so at the public hearing.
